WBT 0718V vibration damper for sockets
WBT-0718V is used to mechanically separate the socket from the loudspeaker enclosure or audio device.
The stable mounting plate with twisted-off protection allows the installation of any WBT loudspeaker.

Constant vibrations, which are caused by the sound of the playing loudspeaker in the housing, inevitably affect all contact elements. The result of these vibrations are changes in contact resistance. These fluctuations are clearly audible in the form of nonlinear distortions. Nonlinear distortions are difficult to estimate and therefore can not be corrected. In any high-end audio system, the problem inevitably needs to be felt.
The WBT-0718V vibration damper helps to eliminate unwanted vibrations at the place where the cable contacts the device. It acts as a switch for unwanted sounds and releases contact elements.
