The Dedalus Speaker Elite speaker cable was a huge success, after which Ricable also wanted to extend the concepts of the Dedalus Elite line to a power cable. The Dedalus Speaker Elite speaker cable was born at the same time as the Invictus Speaker Reference, and the Dedalus Power Elite power cable was born together with the Invictus Power Reference, from which many of its aspects derive. Ricable's goal was to create a high-end cable in the middle, between the excellent Dedalus Power and the champion Invictus Power Reference, which would use innovative technologies combined with proven solutions, while at the same time allowing for cost reduction.

The result is a significant improvement in performance over the Dedalus model, especially in terms of control and timbre, which is better characterized and more natural. The soundstage is perfectly focused, with all the performers in the right place, without unnecessary emphasis, maintaining the right distance and separation. The Dedalus Power Elite is the ideal companion for high-end electronics, as it provides a balanced sound that does not tire the listener, while at the same time captivating him with details he was not previously aware of.

edalus Power Elite is the fusion of the Dedalus Power and Invictus Power Reference power cords, both in terms of technology and materials used. In fact, the architecture of the cable and connectors is the same as the Dedalus Power model, however, Dedalus Power Elite is also made using some technologies developed specifically for the Invictus Power Reference model. From the top line it inherited the double dielectric Technopolymer R-TEC, which allows to significantly reduce the electrical capacitance and makes the electrical signal less susceptible to the presence of shields. This aspect provides a more even sound timbre and allows to maintain greater control over the powered electronics.

Another important improvement lies at the heart of the product, namely in the conductors made of 7N MARC copper. The cross-section of each strand has been increased to 6.8 mm2, and the diameter of the individual wires has been reduced by 10 percent. The smaller size of the wires, while increasing the cross-section, translates into an increased number of them in each conductor, up to 588 individual copper strands, which provides a total of 1,800 wires per conductor throughout the cable .

Project Technique and Technology

Dedalus Power Elite has a twisted geometry and each individual conductor is shielded. The inner shield is made of Mylar and Aluminum, and the second outer shield is a tinned copper braid that covers the entire cable and physically adheres to the RNR (Ricable Noise Reduction) system.further reduce the electrical capacitance and isolate the conductor from the shields even better, which still provides benefits but at the same time affects the electrical signal much less than in the case of the Dedalus model.

Even from a purely aesthetic point of view, there have been changes that emphasize the phenomenal quality and workmanship of the new Dedalus Power Elite power cable. The use of excellent R-TEC plugs results in a sensational step forward, thanks to which the final aesthetics of the cable are very similar to the Dedalus Speaker Elite speaker cable. The plugs used have a non-magnetic housing, which includes a ferrite block, the task of which is to protect the audio signal from any interference, even at the most critical connection point. All contact points of the plugs are made entirely of copper, slightly oversized, thanks to which the seal of the connectors is maintained throughout the service life.
