The Invictus Power has been one of Ricable's longest-lived products, and its improvement was a real challenge that took the Italian engineers more than a year to complete. The main objective of the improvement was to improve the acoustic performance and increase the control of the electronics, without compromising the philosophy that distinguished the Invictus Power. The result is truly excellent, even more tangible than in the case of the related improvement of the Speaker to the Speaker Reference, to the point that Ricable can proudly boast of this new artifact with the addition - Reference.

The greater acoustic performance is immediately apparent, and the overall step forward is palpable, with a clearly improved control and clarity of sound during listening, with a more defined timbre and a perfectly characterized soundstage. One also appreciates the noticeable step forward towards greater musicality of the piece, with voices well-detailed and at the same time better separated from the instruments, all to the benefit of an incredible fluidity of listening that completely reduces fatigue during listening.

The ultimate expression of materials

Invictus Power Reference is particularly refined in terms of raw materials and materials used. It integrates all the R-TEC innovations developed so far, [further improved]. It features a double dielectric made of a newly developed polymer with an even better dielectric constant and a Germanium Noise Reduction system , which has been placed throughout the cable to better channel the collected interference and to more precisely reduce power supply noise.

Another important improvement lies at the heart of the product, namely in the 7N MARC 8.4 mm2 conductor wires, which remain identical in cross-section, but contain ha diameter reduced by 30%. The smaller size of the wires, while maintaining the same cross-section, translates into an increased number of them in each conductor, up to 1140 individual copper strands, which provides a total of 3500 wires per conductor throughout the cable .

The geometry of the new Invictus Power Reference follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, while improving some aspects along the way that are the basis for high audio performance. The triple shielding, which protects the system from interference in two directions, has been maintained unchanged, but is more efficient thanks to the introduction of the RNR system (Ricable Noise Reduction Technology). As we know, shielding is like an antibiotic, that is, it provides benefits but also generates side effects in the signal. Thanks to all the interventions and changes made to the new Reference model, Ricable has been able to further reduce theisolate the conductor from the shields even better, which still provides benefits but at the same time affects the electrical signal much less than before.

Even from a purely aesthetic point of view, there have been changes that emphasize the phenomenal quality and workmanship. The technologically advanced approach to the construction of the cable and shields (R-TEC) results in a sensational step forward.
