Dedalus USB is a Hi-End cable that is located between the top Invictus USB and Magnus USB. This strategic position of our production enjoys a balance between cable quality and price, allowing you to obtain high-quality sound at an appropriate price. Created at the same time as Invictus, it uses many of Invictus' technologies, but at the same time looks to the experience gained in creating Magnus to reach the right middle ground. Dedalus offers optimal separation of power cables from data cables and integrates insulation systems directly from the Invictus series.p>
The sound is very balanced, with excellent control over the entire audio range and a clear naturalness that allows for deep listening, characterized by correct separation of elements. The stage is well centered and the listening is airy and fresh. The best result is certainly obtained with lossless source files, but the general improvement is also visible in PCM and, incredibly, also in compressed formats such as MP3.
Exquisite construction.
Dedalus USB has been designed entirely by Ricable, from the cable to the USB plugs. But how is this impressive cable made? In order to obtain ideal electrical properties and at the same time excellent insulation, we designed an asymmetric geometry with concentric data conductors and parallel power conductors. In this way, we have achieved the least possible impact of the power supply on the quality of data transport. Of course, the strong point is the insulation made of R-TEC polyethylene to protect the data from interference and has a cylinder system called RCS (Ricable Cyl inder System), which allows for maximum insulation and reduces the impact of the shield on the electrical capacity. Finally, we added multiple shields (5 in total) and an innovative system - Silicon Noise Reduction (Ricable Noise Reduction - RNR System).
Dedalus USB is an example of achieving the goal of creating a USB cable with the right impedance, low capacitance, low resistance and excellent shielding. From these assumptions came a very complex geometry, which, thanks to the balance, allowed to obtain amazing results for this product, which exudes craftsmanship.
